A new version of Vexira Antivirus for Vista has been released

While the new release has been tested, a few known minor issues exist in the released product. These issues have already been addressed and an upgraded build will be available shortly. The known issues include:

1. The right click option to perform a quick scan doesn’t appear in Windows Explorer
2. If a user attempts to uninstall the Vexira Guard and then tries to reinstall it by using the uninstall/change option, a restart is required
3. If you install Vexira for Vista in evaluation mode, it cannot be registered from the system tray listing. Registration is available during install or after a restart following installation

Important notice:

Due to incorporating the latest scan engine and requiring a separate updating branch, at this time, the current version of Vexira Antivirus Central Management Solution (CMS) can’t manage either version of Vexira Professional with Vista support. A new CMS will be available soon.
