This is important information regarding Vexira Antivirus and Central Command, Inc.
Central Command, Inc., would like to share some and important news with you. After 23 years in business Central Command, Inc. has closed its operations and ceased its business. The antivirus market is consolidating and smaller companies are being acquired by larger ones or equals are combining to become larger together. Ongoing research and development to combat the latest threats requires not just evolution of the security product and core technology, but also investing in new research for yet to be developed threats. In many cases this requires licensing other 3rd party technologies, forming collaborative partnerships or moving to more advanced technologies entirely.
We feel that continued use of the existing Vexira Antivirus, even with updates to the detection databases, is not adequate to fully protect our clients in the future. With today's modern threats, the core technology within Vexira Antivirus cannot be adapted rapidly enough to remain a viable protection solution. We do not want our clients to have a false of security depending on a product that is not able to sufficiently protect them. All Vexira Antivirus clients using Windows-based products that hold a valid and current license can get a free “no cost” upgrade to the equivalent K7 product for the same period. Please send an email message to us.sales@k7computing.com for verification and processing. All support for Novell Netware and Novell Groupwise, Linux, Solaris, AIX and FreeBSD products has ended.
